Continuing my experimentation with automatic drawing-I use nostalgias and sigils to stimutate the process initially, letting the image develop as unconsciously as possible,whilst still using the coordination between hand and eye to inform aesthetic descisions-More Later!

Earth Inferno

Always fooling around with Sigils so thought I might recreate these two off the Earth Inferno album,their practically alive they are so totemistic-The final one is a composite glyph embodying both Zos and Kia,Yin and Yang,Time and Eternity,Keep Talking....

This intricate drawing shows the state of eternal dreaming at the astral sabbath-elucidated crypticlly yet descisively by sorceror Austin Osman Spare in his writings and art(the quote is from hisself).I have used my burgeoning semi-automatic drawing skills to bring it to fruition.It shows those who are shamanistic in different states of trance indulging in unknown pleasures.

INDIVIDUATION

This piece is a symbolic representation of a visionary experience i had a month or so ago and connotes my transformation from being individualistic to being an individual.The emanation was cryptic and shamanistic and i hope i have captutred its otherworldly nature and it's essential death/rebirth nature.It was one of the most vital astral adventures i have had for sometime and i hope I have captured some of its immediacy and liminal nature.Art becomes life by the articulation of the imagination.
